1/2 c. basmati rice 1 c. light chicken broth or water 1/3 c. Gruyere cheese, coarsely grated 2 T. butter Sea salt, to taste |

| Directions |
| Bring the water to boil in a medium sauce pan. Stir in the rice, reduce heat to low and cover. Cook about 15 minutes or until all the liquid is absorbed and the rice is tender. Fluff with a fork and mix in the butter. Next, add the cheese and stir briefly to combine. Season with salt and serve immediately while the cheese is creamy and hot. |
