This meal was a standard steak and Cabernet Sauvignon. Seems like it would be a no-brainer, right? Not so in this case.

The wine was a poor match for the steak--I would have preferred a Zinfandel if all Cabs tasted this badly.

SS was at class tonight so JJ did the pairing alone.
