Who are we and what are we doing here? We'll take that question personally, so think of this as a peek into someone's culinary journal. It is all about two people learning what happens when food and wine meet. Basically we are teaching our tongues to think and not just help us swallow. No one claims to be an expert here but we have found, through a variety of experience, many things that enhance our dining pleasure. These are the discoveries we will be sharing with you in an episodic posting of our dining adventures. Since all of us have to eat at least once a day, why not make that event something that adds real quality to your life in a simple and pleasant way? We will be bringing you recipes that are seasonal, easy and based on fresh, local products. We will be tasting and giving our perspectives on a wide variety of wines from around the world. And, we will be sharing with you our experiences with the meals that combine these two elements. Yummy! What could be better? We plan to gradually expand this site to include not only food pairings, wine ratings and recipes, but also gardening information, book reviews, restaurant reviews, and tips in local food and wine products.
